showcase: Game of Thrones - Tourism Ireland Competition Spot

In celebration of Season 4 Game of Thrones, Tourism Ireland and Showcase provided an opportunity for a Foxtel subscriber to Win An Amazing Trip To Northern Ireland (valued at $10,000). It was a perfect consumer promotion as it highlighted the Game of Thrones destinations within Northern Ireland. The entry question related back to Game of Thrones territory and filming destinations across Northern Ireland. The competition spot consisted of footage from real Northern Ireland and Game of Thrones locations used from the series. Record ratings ensured high exposure of the competition spot which was aligned to all Game of Thrones episodes and beyond.

The FOX8.tv Sponsor Content driver was created to showcase the rich and engaging additional content available to FOX8 viewers. The spot drove viewers online to FOX8.tv to view and experience interactive and engaging sponsorship extensions, including the Myer Miss Shop virtual wardrobe, the Australia's Next Top Nissan Competition and the Tresemme Get the Look videos.

LIVE FOR SUMMER: Competition Spot

Over 9 weeks of summer 2012/13 FOX8 and the Comedy Channel joined forces with Channel [V] to offer a co-branded summer campaign across the channels. 'Live for Summer' leveraged the youthful positioning of these three channel brands to deliver an integrated campaign for Jeep, McDonald's and Boohoo.com. The campaign included brand association with each of the channel’s key properties with inclusion in all promos, and a competition for subscribers bigger than ever – the choice of VIP backstage access to the 55th Grammy Awards, walking the red carpet at the Emmy Awards or a 5 star experience at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. The 60" hero spot is a finalist in the Promax BDA Global Excellence Awards in the On-air Consumer Tie-in / Brand Integrated Campaign category.
